The Daily Mirror has carried out an investion into health workers safety finding; 'They are regularly exposed to the threat of contracting HIV and hepatitis.' SNN Member Kim Sunley, from the RCN said; "These instances are just the tip of the iceberg. We want to see legislation on needlestick injuries which makes it mandatory to provide safer needle devices that reduce the risk of injury."
